Hello! Remember me?! I promise I'm not purposely only posting once a week - I've got so many more holiday snaps, and a tonne of product reviews to share with you guys, but I haven't really spent much time in front my computer recently... I blame the Olympics!! (How good gave the games been!?)

Well. Enough with the excuses for the lack of recent posts! Here I am at Il Duomo in Florence! An unbelievebly stunning structure, which I hope comes across in these pictures, all taken on my iPhone as my camera battery was long dead at this point! The colour and pattern of the marble facade is so vivid I just had take my outfit picture there! When visiting Florence we actually stayed in a campsite called Campeggio Michelangelo, which had a great atmosphere and evening greater views over the city.

Florence has so much to do and see, I feel like I missed out a bit only spending two days there. It's definitely on my to visit again list! If you've ever visited, or better yet if you live there, let me know in the comments what your things to do are!

Portofino has to be one of the most beautiful places in Italy. I couldn't wait to share pictures from the day we spent there. After leaving Monaco and France, and settling into a beautiful campsite looking over the sea, we drove up to Portofino from where we were staying further down the coast, in Moneglia. On the way we stopped off at the beautiful Rapallo for lunch and to stretch our legs.

I feel like the sunglasses look ridiculously big on me, I forgot to bring any sunglasses on the whole trip, god knows how! It meant that I had to borrow Chris' Raybans, oh well! Despite the odd grey cloud it was a boiling day so I wanted to wear the lightest clothes possible. I love these lace shorts from Zara, they add that little bit of style on a day where you just feel like being scruffy!

From here on in on the road trip all my pictures were taken on my iPhone, sorry the quality is pretty rubbish but my camera battery died as we were heading for Italy and I couldn't get it to charge!

Some more tourist pictures from our trip to Rome. The last day of the trip we were starting to get a little tired from day after day of jam packed sight seeing. I wanted to wear something comfy and cosy, so on came the leggings, body con skirt and my fave jumper of the moment, a cream knit from Primark.

We had a wonder up the Via Appia Antica and visited the amazing ancient catacombs, and 'attraction' I had wanted to tick off my list for a long time. For the rest of the day we simply wondered round the beautiful city, taking in the sights for the last time. I really can't wait to visit this amazing city again!

I wore this dress on a night out in Rome. I paired it with my trusty Joe Brown boots, though primarily for comfort, as after hours and hours or walking around the ancient city I couldn't face wearing the heals I'd packed for the trip! It turns out I really love how the boots give the pretty Vero Moda Butterfly dress a 'rock' edge! I was really happy with how the look fit right in with the laid back Roman style I saw in bars and restaurants.

Zalando.co.uk were kind enough to ask me to pick an item from their website. I absolutely love the idea behind Zalando, with tonnes of great brands all in one place, even better that most are really affordable! And with free shipping (and returns) it makes shopping that bit easier. The selection and variety of clothes and shoes is fab, I was only slightly frustrated that the few fave items I initially wanted to choose had sold it in my size! I suppose they were just too popular... oh well! I've been on the website a few times since though and haven't had the same problem though!

Our third day in Rome was filled with more wonderful sight seeing. Despite my many visits to this favourite city, I had never visited the Castel Sant'Angelo which dominates the banks of the river. Well, after the popularity of Dan Brown's Angel and Demons, and the fact that the building was originally my favourite Emperor, Hadrian's, mausoleum (Yes, I have a favourite Roman Emperor!) we decided to pay the landmark a visit! Despite the amazing views of the Vatican, if you're only visiting Rome for a few days, I'd give Castel Sant'Angelo a miss.

Heading further into the city we visited the beautiful Pantheon and stunning, yet crazy busy Trevi Fountain - where we had to wait AGES for a space to take a picture! Another busy day surrounded by swarms of tourists we couldn't wait to relax with a gelato. Make sure you visit La Gelateria Frigidarium if you're ever in Rome!
