No7 Beautiful Skin Melting Gel Cleanser - Boots (£9)*
You know those products that are such staples you don't even think twice about them? Well it dawned on me recently that is exactly what the No7 Beautiful Skin Melting Gel Cleanser is! I first tried the cleanser after receiving a couple of tubes for Normal/ Dry skin in the goodie bags from the Meadowhall Blogger Style School. Now I've nearly used my last one up I'll definitely be repurchasing, particularly when I'm presented with the £5 voucher at the till in Boots!
The product has the consistency of a light balm like gel and transforms into an oil as you massage it into damp skin. I use a similar amount as shown in the image above and start by working it in all around my face, then finishing off with an extra pea sized amount to remove light eye-makeup. Sometimes however I repeat if I've a full face of make-up on! I find the gel to oil formula a lot easier and so more convenient to work with than MAC Cleanse Off Oil, for example, while still having the same effect of 'melting' off all traces of makeup.
I wouldn't say the Melting Gel Cleanser has totally replaced my beloved Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, as I love the tingly feeling the eucalyptus leaves on the skin as well as that deep clean you get using the muslin cloth to exfoliate, however I enjoy using it most days of the week. The Melting Gel Cleanser means just that bit less faffing about, perfect when I'm in a rush, or just being plain lazy! Though I always finish off removing my make-up with a quick wipe round with Bioderma! Still, the Melting Gel Cleanser does leave my skin feeling very conditioned and soft. Despite using the pink capped cleanser for Normal/ Dry skin when I in fact have oily skin, I'm sure the hydrating oil has in fact helped regulate my skin and oil production. Bonus!
