I've been on holiday again! ...And so the break from blogging, yet again! This time I was on a family holiday visiting my sister, Lucy, on the beautiful Island of Gozo. Ten of us flew out from the UK, it was so much fun spending time with the family in the sun!

I thought I'd share one of my favourite outfits from the holiday - let me know if you'd like to see some more holiday snaps, I'll happily put another post together. I wore this gorgeous turquoise chain print dress to one of our family's favourite restaurants on Gozo, The Boat House in Xlendi Bay, which we visited on our first night of the holiday (and on a few more nights besides!).

I picked up this AX Paris dress using vouchers from the Blogzilla event I attended a few weeks ago goodie bag. Being a lovely light weight, silky material it was perfect for keeping cool on such a hot Maltese evenings!

Happy Valentine's Day! I hope that you have all had a lovely day! I've been smelling particularly nice this Valentine's because Chris woke me up this morning with a little beauty, for me perfume is the best Valentine's gift!

Jimmy Choo describe this fragrance as a modern fruity chypre with warm, rich, woody depths. With luminous green top notes, an aura of rich exotic tiger orchid and base notes of sweet toffee meld with Indonisian patchouli.

I wish I could sniff a perfume and reach such depths of a description! Alas. I can definitely smell the sweetness of toffee, though this perfumes reminds more of raspberries than anything else. What I do know is that I this perfume is lovely, and really fits in with collection at the moment, which includes, namley, Juicy Couture's Couture Couture, Marc Jacob's Daisy, Paco Rabanne's Lady Million and Armani Code. It's typically sweet perfumes that I go for, particulary for during the day. Jimmy Choo fits this genre exactly, but not in that sickly way some celebrity perfumes achieve, it's just more , well, mature. The best thing about this perfume is that it lasts! All day!... unlike some of the others mentioned above. When first spritzed, being an eau de parfum, it can be a little overpowering, but I don't mind that, all the better for lasting all day!

On to the bottle design... I think it's close to perfect (even if it does remind me of a hand grenade, and it's very similar to Viktor & Rolf's Flowerbomb)! Very classy from the sturdy black square cap to the beautifully shaped, thick glass bottle. It's now taking pride of place on my dressing table!

Hello!

I had a busy week last week with work and other things! Plus I've really been getting into instagram recently, so here's a very brief instragram filled weekly wrap up!

I've not done a Weekly Wrap Up in over two weeks! I was pretty busy on the run up to my holiday to France, and I just plain forgot whilst on holiday... but I suppose you got plenty of pictures from my trip to Normandy :) Anyway I thought I'd make this wrap up a big one to catch up!

Normandy has some absolutely stunning beaches, so that's where we ended up again this morning. After a day of thunder and lightning yesterday we were able to enjoy some sun and sit out for lunch again today, lovely. Chris hasn't been very well since we arrived in France, but he's finally starting to feel better today. I'm really pleased he'll be able to start enjoying the holiday properly now!

Yesterday my boyfriend, Chris, and I arrived in sunny Normandy to visit Chris' parents who live here, a stone throw from the beach! Northern France, like most of Britain I think, is experiencing a mini heat wave at the moment, so we decided to go for a long stroll along the beach! I have to warn you that this is a very picture heavy post, but I wanted to show you all some of the lovely scenery, and even a few of the little creatures we came across today... there were loads of ladybirds on the beach (see if you can spot one in the pictures below), and we met two funny characters on the way home!

I mentioned in an earlier post that my boyfriend went on a ski/ snowboarding holiday with some friends. Well, he made this video to document the trip and I think that it's so good I just wanted to share it with you all! My boyfriend has been on his annual snowboarding holiday with the boys and this year they went to Avoriaz, France. They had a great time by all accounts, though Chris did come home limping, bruised and with a possible dislocated elbow!! ...We'll be taking him to A&E in the morning if it's no better! :-/

Chris was pretty knackered after a week of intense boarding and drinking so we just decided to relax and stay in with a take-away curry!

What else could you ask for on a Saturday night!?
