I wore this outfit to a family do on Saturday, the main feature is totally the zigzag maxi skirt from Primark. This was one of the pieces strategically placed at the entrance to the store. The design literally stopped me while I was walking passed, I honestly had no intention of going in before I spotted it! I think I'll get a lot of wear out of it though!

As I write this I have a bottle of Hawaiian Tropic cool aloe gel aftersun next to me, I've got about 10 million layers of it on and I'm still burning up! Lesson learnt, don't rely on that dodgy old bottle of sun tan lotion from the back of the bathroom cabinet! It's been so long since we've seen sunshine in the UK, I'm just not used to keeping up with the old sun tan lotion when I'm not on holiday!!

Brown Focco Bag - ebay £19.99

Like just about everyone last summer, I was never seen without my black ebay focco. Alas, after pretty much non stop use the zip broke early this year, boo. I was a little gutted but figured I'd definitely got my money worth, and at the end of the day it was only a cheap ebay bag. Well skip forward 3 months and I found myself back on ebay clicking the buy it now button on a brown version! I'd missed it more than I realised, it really is the perfect bag design and can hold just about anything you could want to carry!!

I bought from a different ebay seller and the slightly different to my black version, which features in many OOTD pictures (here and here). For a start, I received a long strap with the tan version, which is always handy and looks great. It has a really cute flower patterned lining too, and even though it has the usual gold hardware, the side zippy bits are much better designed - the zip on the black bag was always falling down!

Even though the black focco will always be my first love when it comes to ebay bags, I can see myself buying it in black again, I'm loving this light brown for summer! Get ready to see seeing in many an outfit post!!

I can't remember the last time I wore these jeggings, I absolutely love the colour but because they're so bright I often struggle to find something to team with them! We decided to visit Rievaulx Abbey in North Yorkshire at the weekend. The weather wasn't great, there were some crazy grey clouds but it was quite sunny and not exactly coat weather, so I decided to simply pair my turquoise jeggings with a simple oversized black jumper from Zalando.co.uk.

As far as monastic ruins go, there is quite a lot of Rievaulx Abbey left standing despite King Henry VIII destroying this, and a couple of hundred other monasteries around England and Wales! I've mentioned before that I'm a bit of a history buff so I love nothing more than wondering round historical sites. The countryside surrounding the Abbey is gorgeous and we had a really fab lunch in nearby Helmsley... I'm surprised I forgot to instagram my food actually!

Well, back to the outfit, I decided to get another focco! The zip broke on my black one and I missed it so much I decided to just replace it, but with the tan for a bit of a change. Do you think it warrants it's own blog post? ! :-D

ASOS Santo Suede Point Court Shoes £55

I can't believe it's been a year since I posted about my love for blue shoes! I've drooled over many a pair in that time, you just need to check out my latest wishlist to have guessed that. Well, it was only last week that actually went ahead and bought some! The thing that had stopped me was that I have tonnes of pairs of heels that I don't really wear anymore, I'm seriously starting to go for comfort over beauty in my old ages!! From strutting around the house I just know that these shoes are going to killer, but they're so pretty I don't care!

I bought them from asos and I actually think that they look a million time better in real life then they do on the website, I really welcome surprise when it comes to online shopping! In real life the suede is a much brighter electric blue than they appear on the website, yay! I love the shape and even the neon yellow lining, it's a shame you can't see it when you're wearing the shoes!

Happy Bank Holiday Monday! I've had a pretty quiet weekend but it's been really lovely! I've been so busy at work so it's been fab doing a whole load of nothing! I instagramed / tweeted about this blouse after I received it from asos on Saturday, I was having doubts about whether to keep it as it didn't seems as nice as I remembered... these things always look a million times better on the model don't they? But it did slowly start to grow on me, and so many people liked it that it's staying, and now I love it! I wore it out for a meal Saturday night and also while chilling yesterday, I think it's very versatile, I'll probably even be able to smarten it up for work.

Have you guys been up to anything fun this Bank Holiday weekend? I went to see American Pie Reunion yesterday, I really wasn't fussed about seeing it but it was pretty funny! I thought it was actually nearly as good the original!

On a side note, looking at these pictures I really need to do something with my hair! I love the length but it's so damaged! Any recommendations to sort out it, or a potential new style?

I haven't done a wishlist in forever! Which is crazy cos I'm always craving after pretty things... aren't most fashion and beauty bloggers!? :) It's pretty standard to be honest and all pretty geared towards spring / summer! While compiling this wishlist I actually ended up buying the latest cult beauty product which is the Caudalie Beauty Elixir! Yay!

I was very excited to receive these little lovelies in the post last week. I'm a massive candle fan, which you may have noticed if you follow me on instagram (candle overload or what?!). This little known company specialises in pretty little handmade, soy based, fragrance candles. I love how Northumbrian Candleworks candles are completely natural, made from wax created from soy beans... to be honest it had never crossed my mind how regular high street candles are created, but using crude oil seems a little crazy when there's a natural alternative!

These candles are so fragranced! The Honeysuckle Jasmine* is such a classic perfumed scent, it's fresh and clean smelling. I seriously feel like I've got fresh laundry on the go all the time the lid is off the tin, and that's not even when it's burning! The Vanilla & Orange* is beautiful too, totally sweet and yummy, but also invigorating... I know it's going to remind me of spring!

The best thing about these candles is the price! No matter how much I love them, I really struggle to spend a fortune on a candle, I usually get mine a bit cheaper from TK Maxx! These Northumbrian Candleworks candles start £4.99, and the tea light sets even cheaper, bargain!
