My earring collection is something that is constantly expanding, but storage for them all is seriously lacking!  Too many lovely pairs of danglies were neglected and forgotten about in boxes and drawers, so I decided to get myself onto e-bay and ordered this bargainous pretty little earring stand.  With 72 holes I thought it would go a long way to helping me store and display my earrings, but as you can see from the second set of pictures, it's well, not quite, and all these aren't even a fraction of my collection!  I do love this lovely little rotating stand though and it looks stunning on my chest of drawers.  Now I'm eyeing up this slightly larger stand!

What do you think you think of this stand?  How do you store your jewellery?

If you want to know where I got any of the earrings just leave me a message in the comments and I'll get back to you!

On Monday Rihanna's new album Talk That Talk was released, having all her other other albums I literally bought this as soon as I woke up.  Although there are some absolutely amazeballs - We Found Love!  I'm actually not getting into the album as whole yet though  :(  Hopefully it'll be a grower!

The nails I sported for the most of this week!  Gosh's Black Passion with Models Own Juicy Jules.  Juicy Jules is my fave polish at the moment, it's great layered over anything and on its own!  This instagram picture just doesn't do it justice!

I've been carrying round One Day in my bag for weeks.  It's a really brilliant book, and I'd really recommend it, but after a certain event I just can't get any further... I've seriously got 10 pages left and have lost interest.  I'm sure if any of you have read it you'll know what I mean!

I'm building up a quite a collection of innocent smoothie big knit hats!  Those little hats make me so happy every time I glance over to my vitamins at work!

I'm loving my furry ear muffs!  Always welcome when waiting for the lat bus home from York on a Friday night!

Saturday I went to see the The Vaccines at the O2 academy in Leeds.  I don't really know any of their songs, other than those played on the radio and the place was so busy I could barely see the stage, but quite a few of us went out so it was a really fun night!

Today I attended a one day make-up course from Blaze, which I bought on a whim from Groupon, for only £30.  It was a good day and chance to do nothing but apply make-up styles that I wouldn't ever go for normally, but I don't think I learnt anything new.  I did get a MAC Dazzle Glass (Like Venus, a Deep Pink) and a Bourjois eyeshadow in a lovely gold shade.

How cute are my new Primark Santa Socks!  I couldn't wait for December to wear these, perfect for feet up in front a TV!

Hope you all have a good week ahead!

Apologies for the grainy quality of these pictures, I'd carted my camera out to York to take some outfit shots, but when I pulled it out of bag I discovered the battery was completely dead!  Doh!  Seen as I was in beautiful York I couldn't not take some pics so had to make do with the good old iPhone...

I couldn't leave it much longer without getting a new winter coat, it's just absolutely freezing at the moment! When shopping for a new coat I had a good idea that I wanted fur on it, all the other details in my head were pretty vague!  As soon as I spotted this fitted, skirted coat in H&M I knew I'd found 'the one'!  At £59.99 I think was quite a bargain, and to be honest I can't afford to spend much more at the moment.  The detatchable fur collar made it even more perfect, I'm sure there will be times when I don't fancy wearing the fake fur, and the collar has even come in handy when I wanted to jazz up an old leather jacket recently!

No matter how much I love this coat, I still can't quite get over the fact that summer is over and it's freezing all the time... but it goes someway to helping!!

Me and Chris at a romantic meal in York, after picking the engagement ring  //  The ring!  I absolutely love it! Classic, petite, timeless and very pretty.  Today we had to return for resizing just ever so slightly smaller.  I'm really going to miss it in the 10 days before I get it back!  //  I had my first Christmas Starbucks this week!  I was so torn between the praline latte and the gingerbread latte.  I went for the gingerbread in the end, it's SO good! The red cup flavours are one of the best thing about winter!  //  A rubbish thing about winter is the dark! This picture was taken while driving home from work! Boo!  //  Getting my nails into the Christmas spirit, I loved wearing this glittery Models Own polish this week.  Juicy Jules for anyone interested.  //  The Innocent smoothie Big Knit is back!  I'm building up quite a collection of these fab little hats, they are decorating my desk at work!  //  I was in an amazing little restaurant in Leeds, called Little Tokyo, celebrating my engagement with some friends, when the staff donned crazy masks and proceeded to act out a fight scene with lightsabers!  Very bizarre!!  //  In York for a wonder round, wearing my new much loved winter coat... a sneak peek at some outfit pictures outside York Minster  :)

I've posted about the fabulous Sleek Make Up Palettes before, and think they are fabulous value for only £6.49.  I'd mentioned the Oh So Special Palette in my Nude Collection review, but have myself reaching for it more and more recently so thought it justified a post all of it's own!

My favourite thing about the Oh So Special Palette is that it genuinely covers all occasions!  You genuinely can get away with taking this palette and only this palette on a weekend away and be covered for all your eyeshadow needs with warm subtle shades for during the day and rich autumnal colours for a smokey evening look...  I've even been known to use the colour Ribbon as an emergency blusher!!

There is a great mix of mattes and shimmers, and even though there is often a bit of fall out I've never really experienced any more than what I have with a more expensive eye shadow.

Sleek palettes are definitely something I'll continue to collect!  Have you tried any?  Which is you favourite?

River Island ankle booties

I spotted these boots from across the store on a recent shopping trip to River Island and fell in love straight away.  I love the height of the boot and most of those studs!   I just don't think I can justify the £75 price tag at the moment.  I'd love to know what you guys think?  Go on! Enable me!  lol :)

Browsing Net-a-Porter is one of my favourite hobbies, I love finding designer inspiration that I'll then go and scour the high street.  Whilst looking for Christmas party dress inspiration I stumbled across this amazing Alexander McQueen clutch.  The signature skull clasp sits in amazingly amongst the beads, crystals and feather detail.  It would look just stunning with a simple black dress.  So, in true High End Done High Street fashion, here are my favourite budget replicas!

Some more tourist pictures from our trip to Rome.  The last day of the trip we were starting to get a little tired from day after day of jam packed sight seeing.  I wanted to wear something comfy and cosy, so on came the leggings, body con skirt and my fave jumper of the moment, a cream knit from Primark.

We had a wonder up the Via Appia Antica and visited the amazing ancient catacombs, and 'attraction' I had wanted to tick off my list for a long time.  For the rest of the day we simply wondered round the beautiful city, taking in the sights for the last time.  I really can't wait to visit this amazing city again!
